The First Light | 1 Hour Handpan Meditation | Life Is Sound

On this morning I had a calling, a calling to record a piece of music to dedicate to my Grandma, known to many as Millie. As I process her departure from this life, I recorded this piece at dawn, just as the rain started rolling in.

Afterward I packed up my stuff and had a solo walk through through forest. Nestled by the river, I sat, I played some more handpan and then I just reflected. Thinking about my Grandma's spirit as the wind rustled through the tree's, remembering how much Autumn, for some reason reminded me of her.

When you lose a love one, I urge you to go and spend time in Nature, connect with the lands and embrace their spirit that is still with you.

For anyone going through loss at this time, this is for you.
