Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions
These Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions apply to all Life Is Sound digital gift vouchers purchased via our voucher partner Gift Up.
By purchasing or using a voucher, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Life Is Sound is the voucher issuer for the services described on this page.
Gift Up provides the voucher technology and automated email delivery system.
2. Where vouchers can be used
Life Is Sound vouchers are redeemable only against eligible Life Is Sound events listed on our Eventbrite booking pages.
These gift vouchers are only for Eventbrite events hosted by Life Is Sound.
They cannot be used for products sold on our website and are not redeemable through our website checkout.
3. What vouchers can be used for
Vouchers may be used towards:
In-person sound bath events listed on Eventbrite
Online sound journey events listed on Eventbrite
Eligibility is determined by the events currently available on our Eventbrite pages at the time of booking.
4. How redemption works
Redemption is online only through Eventbrite checkout using the voucher code.
The voucher is a booking credit tool and is not an event ticket.
A valid Eventbrite booking confirmation is required for attendance.
Vouchers cannot be scanned at the venue for entry.
5. Delivery
After purchase, vouchers are delivered automatically by email via Gift Up to the email address entered at checkout.
Delivery is usually immediate but may occasionally be delayed by email provider or system issues.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a correct email address.
6. Voucher value and use
Vouchers are issued in the denomination purchased.
A voucher can be used for one or more attendees in a single booking up to the voucher value.
If the booking total exceeds the voucher value, the remaining balance must be paid at checkout.
Where partial redemption is technically supported, any remaining balance can be used.
Where partial redemption is not technically supported for a specific event setup, the voucher may be treated as single-use. Any such limitation will be shown clearly at checkout or in voucher instructions.
7. Validity
Vouchers do not expire.
8. Refunds and cancellations for voucher purchases
Voucher purchases are generally non-refundable once issued, except where required by law.
If a voucher has been partially or fully redeemed, no refund will be given for the used value.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights under UK law.
9. Event changes, postponement, or cancellation
If an event is postponed or cancelled, your rights are governed by the Eventbrite booking terms and applicable consumer law for that booking.
Where appropriate, we may allow voucher re-use for a replacement event or issue an equivalent remedy required by law.
10. Lost, deleted, or non-receipt emails
If you cannot locate your voucher email, please contact us at lifeisgood@lifeissound.com with proof of purchase and we will assist.
For security reasons, we may request verification before reissuing voucher details.
11. Fraud, misuse, and resale
We reserve the right to refuse redemption, suspend, or cancel vouchers where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, tampering, unauthorised resale, or breach of these terms.
Vouchers may not be copied, altered, or sold for commercial gain without written permission.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life Is Sound is not liable for indirect or consequential losses connected with voucher use, non-use, or misuse.
This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
The version in force at the time of voucher purchase will apply to that purchase, unless changes are required by law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law states otherwise.
